At 16 Giulio Carmassi lost almost completely the use of his hands, for a year, as a result of tension and bad posture. That's when he discovered Alexander Technique. After a few years in Italy, he moved to Los Angeles, CA, and met there Jean-Louis Rodrigue, with whom he studied for several years, discovering the tools to expand more and more his performing skills.
He's now played live in front of 120,000 people, played on America's Got Talent, on RAI (the italian TV), won or been a finalist in all the most important international songwriting competitions, he's graduated with the highest grade as a classical pianist, and as a recording engineer. Graduated in Film and TV at UCLA and learned over the years every instrument short of violin, viola and oboe.
His music videos on youtube continue to inspire thousands of people all over the world and to push the boundaries of "multi instrumentalism".
Giulio Carmassi has moved to the US 7 years ago, and is now living and working in Brooklyn, NY.
