Born in Marseille in 1981, Marina Chiche studied with Jean Ter Merguerian at the Conservatoire National de Région in Marseilles, before entering the Paris Conservatoire (CNSM) at the age of sixteen. There she was awarded first prize for violin and chamber music (Pierre-Laurent Aimard class), as well as the D.F.S. (with distinction). She went on to work with Boris Kuschnir in Vienna and Ana Chumachenco in Münich. She has followed many masterclasses, with Joseph Silverstein, Ida Haendel, György Kurtag and others.

The winner of several prizes, she was named 'Révélation Classique 2003' by ADAMI. In February 2004 Marina Chiche was nominated for a Victoire award in the category 'Révélation Instrumentale' and was nominated once again in 2005 for the same category.
She has appeared in Europe (Austria, France, Turkey, Denmark, Italy, Spain...), Russia and the United States, as a soloist with orchestra, in recital and also as a chamber musician. She has performed with important orchestras such as the Orchestre de Bretagne, Orchestre de Picardie, Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, Orchestre National de Lille, Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse, Orchestre de Cannes, under conductors including Stefan Sanderling, Frédéric Lodéon, John Nelson, Philippe Bender, Edmon Colomer, Fayçal Karoui, Peter Csaba, Kees Bakels.
She has taken part in various festivals, including Deauville, Périgord Noir, Monaco Printemps des Arts, Cannes MIDEM, Rheims Flâneries Musicales, Menton, Sully-sur-Loire, Cité de la Musique, Midis Musicaux du Châtelet, Gubbio, Sarasota, Prussia Cove... Her partners include J. Silverstein, Gérard Caussé, Renaud and Gauthier Capuçon, Marc Coppey, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Jonathan Gilad, Marie-Josèphe Jude, Quatuor Manfred, Stefan Kovacevich, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Augustin Dumay.
Her recording of Brahms with the pianist Vahan Mardirossian (Intrada) and her recording of Eric Tanguy chamber music (TRANSART LIVE) were acclaimed by the press.
