The Verbier Festival & Academy is a world-class music, theater,
and dance festival, which takes place annually between July and
August in Verbier, Switzerland. The Academy offers professional
music, dance and theater training by top international artists
such as James Levine, Stephen Kovacevich, Victor Tretiakov, and
Larry Moss. Since 1998, Jean-Louis Rodrigue has been teaching the
Alexander Technique for the Academy students in small groups and
on a private basis. In 2001 Rodrigue expanded the program to include
Kristof Konrad as a second teacher in order to meet the demand
for Alexander instruction.

Larry
Moss, director of the award-winning “The
Syringa Tree” conducted a theater workshop
in 2002. The Alexander Technique lessons
were an integral part of the workshop designed
to develop material based on actual themes
from the actor’s own lives.
